Chinese humanoid robot maker Unitree has priced its Shanghai IPO at 150.8 yuan per share, valuing the company at around 61 billion yuan ($9.04 billion), making it the first mainland-listed humanoid robot maker in China. The Hangzhou-based company raised 6.1 billion yuan by issuing 40.45 million new shares on Shanghai’s STAR Market. Its revenue more than quadrupled to 1.7 billion yuan in 2025, with humanoid robot sales reaching 867.8 million yuan and overtaking four-legged robots. In the first quarter of 2025, revenue rose 68.5% to 422.8 million yuan, but profit fell 52.6% to 40.3 million yuan due to increased spending on research and marketing, while U.S. sales accounting for 13.3% of revenue are at risk from Sino-American trade tensions.
