Warden Protocol launched Halo, a peer-to-peer AI inference marketplace on the Base blockchain. In just a few weeks, the network processed over 8 billion AI tokens across more than 200 supported models. Participants can earn USDC by running inference requests for language models. The integration with Virtuals Protocol, which has tokenized over 18,000 AI agents, allows inference fees to be paid in stablecoins, $VIRTUAL, or each agent’s own token.
