During the pandemic, filmmaker Alex Ramírez-Mallis recorded and tokenized his own farts as NFTs, selling them for 0.05 ETH each (approximately $85 at the time). Brazilian investment fund Target FIDC structured a $19,600 loan backed by 10 tokenized cows, with potential to support around $80 million in livestock-backed financing. Uranium was also tokenized on the Tezos blockchain via metals.io, with trading volume of $21.5 million between November 2024 and July 2026. Jack Dorsey’s first tweet (« just setting up my twttr ») was tokenized and sold to crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi for $2.9 million in 2021, but a resale attempt at $48 million attracted a maximum bid of only $6,800. Streaming music royalties were tokenized by artists like 3LAU and Nas through the Royal platform but have yet to become a mainstream asset class.
