The CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633) has not been scheduled for a vote in the U.S. Senate before the summer recess expected between August 10 and September 14. Adoption of this regulatory framework for the crypto market requires at least 60 votes out of 100, involving bipartisan support. A new countdown has begun for adoption before the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for November 3. In case of failure in Congress, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins stated that he would take matters into his own hands to regulate the cryptocurrency market.
