Open Farm, a Toronto-based premium pet food company, is planning an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange with an approximate valuation of one billion dollars. Founded in 2014, the company has reached annual sales exceeding 250 million dollars and began selling in 1,700 PetSmart locations in June 2026. Goldman Sachs and RBC are managing the process, with a launch targeted for fall 2026 and a fundraising goal between 300 and 400 million dollars. Co-founders Isaac Langleben and Jacqueline Prehogan were named Canada’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2025. This IPO would represent a significant event for Canadian IPO markets in the consumer sector.
