Proof of Attendance Protocol is shutting down after 5+ years

The Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP), which allowed users to create onchain attendance tokens, is shutting down after more than five years of operation. Approximately 46,210 issuers, including companies like Coinbase and American Express, used the platform to design digital mementos that users could mint. The service allowed participants to obtain verifiable proof of their attendance at events.
