FalconX cuts 10% of workforce amid market downturn fears

FalconX, one of the world’s largest institutional digital asset prime brokers, has cut approximately 10% of its global workforce, representing about 35 positions. The layoffs particularly impacted the Singapore office, where half the staff was let go. The company cited anticipation of a market downturn as the driving factor. FalconX has facilitated cumulative trading volume exceeding $2.5 trillion and reached a peak valuation of $8 billion in 2022. This reduction follows a wave of senior staff departures in March 2025, suggesting ongoing structural challenges at the firm.
