Canadian businessman Frank Giustra has sharply criticized Michael Saylor after Strategy sold another 1,637 BTC for approximately $102.3 million as part of its treasury management strategy. Despite this sale, Strategy remains by far the largest corporate Bitcoin holder with 842,138 BTC worth approximately $52.65 billion. Giustra defended his position by referencing his April 2021 debate with Saylor, when Bitcoin was trading at $65,000 versus gold at $1,700. Longtime Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff also weighed in, arguing that Strategy’s recent capital management decisions are becoming increasingly burdensome for shareholders, noting the company’s year-to-date BTC yield has dropped to 3.5%, down 74% from its May peak.
