JPMorgan Chase unveiled its American Dream Initiative on March 31, committing $750 billion by 2035, representing an increase of over $200 billion from previous pledges. The initiative targets six areas: small business growth, housing accessibility and affordability, financial well-being, career development, healthcare, and support for local institutions. The bank plans to lend $80 billion to small businesses over the next decade, aiming to expand its client base from 7 million to 10 million owners, while coaching 115,000 entrepreneurs and hiring 1,000 additional small-business bankers. Combined with the existing $1.5 trillion Security and Resiliency Initiative, total pledged community-facing investment exceeds $2 trillion. Notably, the initiative includes zero plans for cryptocurrency or blockchain integration, keeping this massive deployment firmly in traditional finance rails.
