RB Leipzig’s CEO has publicly contradicted Fabrizio Romano’s report that a verbal agreement existed for Yan Diomandé’s transfer to Real Madrid. Real Madrid initially offered 100 million euros, then revised to 120 million euros, but Leipzig is holding firm at 130 to 135 million euros or above. Diomandé, just 19 years old, was acquired for merely 20 million euros from CD Leganés in July 2025. The player’s agent, Roc Nation, is in a dispute with his previous representatives, which could further complicate the deal. The 15 million euro gap between Madrid’s offer and Leipzig’s demand remains unresolved.
