Dogecoin cofounder Billy Markus, known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto on X, posted a simple ‘sigh’ in response to bearish forecasts on Bitcoin. Prediction platform Polymarket estimated a 59% probability of Bitcoin falling below $60,000 by the end of August, a figure that rose to 63% at time of writing. Bitcoin was trading at $62,707, down 0.68% over twenty-four hours, and was down approximately 30% year-to-date. However, outlook remained mixed, with a 71% probability according to Polymarket that Bitcoin would exceed $65,000 in August.
