In 2025, Ethereum closed Q3 up 66.55%, its strongest quarterly rally on record, and the ETH/BTC pair gained 56%, versus just 6.31% for Bitcoin. Bitcoin historically underperforms in August and September, increasing the odds that Ethereum will remain the market leader through the rest of Q3.
