SBI VC Trade and Orient Corporation (Orico) launched on July 31, 2026 an integration allowing Orico cardholders to convert loyalty points into BTC, ETH or XRP through the VCTRADE platform. The conversion rate stands at 1,200 Orico Points for 1,000 yen worth of crypto, with a 1.0% base earning rate on purchases, rising to 2.0% for new cardholders during their first six months. This marks the first time crypto has become a redemption option within the Orico Points program. XRP currently trades around $1.05, with support between $1.00 and $1.02 and resistance between $1.08 and $1.10. This integration could give millions of Japanese consumers exposure to XRP and support long-term adoption.
