Chandler Fang, cofounder of t54ai, predicts that Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin, with native support for x402 and mainstream agentic protocols from Google and Mastercard, could unlock hundreds of thousands, even millions, of agentic merchants and services. RLUSD was recently listed on major Korean exchanges Upbit and Bithumb, following Coinone and Korbit. In June, Ripple launched the XRPL AI Starter Kit, enabling AI agents to transact for APIs, compute, and other digital services. Ripple has joined the Linux Foundation’s x402 Foundation alongside Visa, Mastercard, Google, Amazon Web Services, and 35 other organizations to develop an open payment standard for AI agents.
