Nasdaq futures edged higher Thursday after Wall Street staged a sharp rebound. Amazon surged more than 9% after reporting better-than-expected quarterly revenue, boosted by its cloud computing business. Microsoft also fueled the rally with a 16% jump following stronger-than-expected Azure growth. The Dow had plunged more than 1,100 points Wednesday, its worst session since April 2025, after the Federal Reserve held interest rates steady. Despite the week’s volatility, the major averages were on track to finish higher, with the Dow up about 0.5%, the S&P 500 up roughly 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite ahead about 0.6%.
