The Ethereum Foundation appointed Caversaccio, co-founder of SEAL 911, to its board of directors. Caversaccio is a longtime Ethereum contributor and member of the Silviculture Society, an informal advisory group focused on censorship resistance, open-source development, privacy and security. The board, described as a « security council, » sets the Foundation’s vision and ensures compliance as a Swiss foundation. This appointment aligns with the Foundation’s strengthened strategy designating privacy and security as « non-negotiable protocol guarantees. » The protocol team will work on layer-1 privacy and post-quantum security to preserve user self-sovereignty.
