Shares of Zhongji Innolight fell 1.28% Thursday on their first day of trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Chinese optical transceiver maker raised HK$53.4 billion ($6.8 billion) in its IPO, priced at HK$980 per share, below the maximum indicated price of HK$1,010. It was Asia’s second-largest listing this year, behind CXMT’s $8.6 billion Shanghai offering. Zhongji, also listed in Shenzhen, supplies components for AI data centers, cloud computing and high-speed networks, and leads the global optical interconnect solutions market with a 21.2% share in 2025.
