Robinhood reported record Q2 revenues of $1.31 billion, up 32% year-over-year, beating Wall Street’s estimate of $1.26 billion. Event contracts, prediction market bets on real-world outcomes such as Fed rate decisions or World Cup matches, generated $156 million, up more than 10x year-over-year, while crypto revenue fell 38% to $100 million. The platform launched the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain on July 1, an Ethereum layer-2 solution for tokenized real-world assets, with over $12 billion in volume since launch and 138 million transactions in 30 days. Robinhood Gold subscribers reached a record 4.8 million and platform assets grew to $369 billion.
