Emirates Airlines, headquartered in Dubai, now allows its customers to book flights using cryptocurrencies on its website and mobile application. The integration supports Shiba Inu (SHIB) alongside 29 other cryptocurrencies via Crypto.com Pay, with bookings priced and settled in Emirati Dirham (AED) for eligible UAE residents. The partnership between Crypto.com and Emirates, announced in July 2025, supports Dubai’s Cashless Strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda. Shiba Inu surged over 37% during the weekend, with 52 large whale transactions recorded in a single day. SHIB is currently leading with an 8% gain over the past seven days as markets await the US interest rate decision.
