Hungary’s parliament has repealed the mandatory third-party validation requirement for certain cryptocurrency transactions, ending a system considered disruptive to the market. CoinCash received the first MiCA authorization in Hungary from the National Bank of Hungary on July 20, allowing it to resume services it had voluntarily suspended in December 2025. Finance Minister Andras Karman said these rules had caused many crypto market players to leave Hungary, but the market is now showing signs of recovery. The MiCA license covers custody, crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto exchange, transfers, investment advice and portfolio management.
