Crypto voters prioritize candidates’ stances ahead of midterms, but the numbers tell two very different stories

Stand With Crypto claims 2.9 million US advocates and 70% of crypto owners say a candidate’s stance on digital asset policy will influence their vote. Independent polling by Politico and Public First, however, shows only 4% of Americans overall and 7% of actual digital asset traders consider crypto policy an important factor. Crypto-linked PACs have spent $189 million in the 2026 electoral cycle, with Fairshake receiving $82 million, making the industry the single largest sector spender.
