Analytics platform Santiment detected 52 whale transactions in a single day, while retail investors bought late near the top, providing whales with the liquidity needed to reduce their exposure. CryptoQuant data shows that tokens held on exchanges hit a two-week high of approximately 86.7 trillion units, indicating heightened selling pressure. Shibarium, the ecosystem’s layer-2 scaling solution, remains stalled following last September’s exploit, with activity limited to hundreds or thousands of daily transactions.
