Core Scientific’s second-quarter revenue reached $164.2 million, up from $78.6 million a year earlier, more than doubling driven by rapid growth in its AI and HPC colocation business. Colocation services generated $136.7 million in revenue, compared to just $10.6 million in the same period last year. The company reported a net loss of $1.15 billion due to a non-cash accounting charge related to the rising value of outstanding warrants as its share price increased. Core Scientific also announced a partnership with AMD covering 530 megawatts under 15-year agreements, with potential contracted revenue exceeding $14 billion.
