Signum Global Advisors, a geopolitical-risk consultancy, created a mathematical formula to quantify President Donald Trump’s propensity to reverse policy positions. Known as TACO, short for « Trump always chickens out », the formula predicted a reversal in the U.S. bombing campaign on Iran between July 22 and July 30. This forecast proved accurate when hostilities were paused this weekend.
