Zapper to Shut Down Aug. 3 After Nearly Seven Years

Zapper, the DeFi portfolio tracker and dashboard, will shut down entirely on August 3. The website, mobile apps and API services will all go offline. Founded in 2019 by Seb Audet, Zapper grew to serve over 2 million monthly active users and processed over $13 billion in transaction volume at its peak. The company raised $1.5 million in a seed round in 2020 and $15 million in a Series A in May 2021, with participation from Framework Ventures, Mark Cuban and Sound Ventures. Seb Audet said he is fielding interest in hiring the team, who have deep onchain engineering expertise.
