Why JPMorgan is investing big in the 2028 LA Olympics

JPMorgan has become the first-ever global banking partner for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with an estimated commitment exceeding 200 million dollars per four-year cycle. The bank also secured an agreement for the 2030 Winter Games in the French Alps. JPMorgan plans to hire over 100 additional business bankers in Southern California, representing a 30 percent increase, to support local small businesses. The firm already serves 5 million consumer banking customers and 589,000 small business clients in Los Angeles. This partnership is part of a broader sports investment strategy, including venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Chase Center.
