Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor disclosed that a data breach at its logistics partner ShipMonk exposed the personal information of 13,689 customers. A total of 11,742 customers had their full names, email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses compromised, while another 1,947 had their names, cities and email addresses exposed. The affected orders, delivered between May 10 and August 8, involved customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy and Portugal. Trezor stated that its own systems and devices were not compromised. This breach poses a physical security risk as it links names to recent cryptocurrency hardware wallet orders, potentially facilitating targeted attacks.
