Trezor Issues Urgent Data Breach Warning, Says Wallets Remain Secure

Hardware wallet maker Trezor has disclosed a significant data breach at one of its shipping providers, exposing personal information of nearly 14,000 customers across seven countries. The compromised data includes full names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for 11,742 clients, while another 1,947 had only their names and email addresses exposed. The affected countries are the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal. Trezor stated that its own systems and hardware wallets were not compromised, but warned customers about increased risks of phishing and social-engineering attacks. The company is currently developing an anonymous delivery option in response to this incident.
