Marriott International (MAR), the world’s largest hotel company, has seen its stock pull back to its 50-day moving average at $376 due to Middle East tensions, a scenario similar to last spring’s oil price spike. The company reported strong first quarter results with revenue per room up 4.2%, adjusted EBITDA of $1.4 billion and adjusted EPS of $2.72, up 17% year-over-year. Howmet Aerospace (HWM), a manufacturer of precision components for commercial jet engines and defense aerospace structures, is up 41% year-to-date and posted record first quarter results with revenue of $2.31 billion, up 19%, and adjusted EPS of $1.22, up 42%. Howmet completed its $1.8 billion acquisition of CAM Fasteners on April 6, adding approximately $275 million of 2026 revenue to the Fastening Systems segment.
