The S&P 500 is on pace to break a two-session losing streak, supported by an in-line consumer price index report that reduced expectations for a Federal Reserve rate hike in September. Goldman Sachs announced Wednesday the acquisition of ETF manager Neos Investments for up to $2.25 billion in cash and equity. Neos manages $30 billion in assets across 19 options-based income ETFs. With this acquisition, Goldman Sachs will become one of the top eight active ETF providers with $80 billion in active ETFs on a $130 billion global platform.
