Shein, the ultra-fast fashion giant, is now valued at $22 billion to $25 billion by Bloomberg Intelligence ahead of its Hong Kong IPO, planned for mid-August 2026. This valuation represents a 75% drop from the peak of $98.2 billion achieved during a 2022 funding round. The company aims to raise between $2 billion and $3 billion and received approval from the Chinese securities regulator on July 10, 2026. Shein posted a net loss of $99 million in the first quarter of 2026, while its 2025 annual net profit declined by 38.7%, impacted by slowing sales growth and rising operational costs linked to changes in US tariff policies on low-value imports.
