Shares of SK Hynix plunge 10% in Seoul as semiconductor selloff deepens

South Korean technology stocks tumbled on Tuesday, extending a rout in chipmakers after another weak session on Wall Street. SK Hynix plunged more than 10%, while Samsung Electronics fell over 8%. In Japan, Kioxia saw the steepest decline, dropping more than 15%. This weakness underscores how closely Asian technology shares and U.S. AI spending expectations have become intertwined.
