Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s X Account Hacked to Shill Fake ‘Vladhood’ Token

Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, had his X account hacked on Thursday to promote a fraudulent token called Vladhood, trading under the ticker VLAD. Attackers used the executive’s verified profile to falsely claim the token would be listed on the Robinhood app. The platform confirmed the hack from its official account and said access had been restored. Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum layer-2 network launched on July 1, has seen speculative meme coin activity eclipse tokenized stocks. One holder of the CashCat meme coin reported losing $56,000 due to a compromised smart contract.
