Ripple is extending its partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) until 2027. The University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) will continue to fund blockchain research and education. Professors Rasa Karapandza and Yaw Nyarko will lead research on how decentralized technologies can boost market efficiency and reduce trade barriers. The Volta Initiative, a blockchain-based mobile application for smallholder farmers in Ghana, will expand to additional regions. Ripple also received regulatory approval for its RLUSD stablecoin in Abu Dhabi Global Market and opened a regional headquarters in Dubai.
