Pi Network announced the distribution of its second testnet token called Slice through the Pi Launchpad. Nearly 480,000 users participated in Launchpad testing since March 14, 2026. The Slice token launched in June with testing running from June 12 to June 28. The native PI token hit a new all-time low of $0.07 in mid-August, then surged 20% last Sunday before dropping over 10% to $0.082 yesterday. Some users have reported suspicious activity in their Pi Wallets, including missing tokens and failed transactions to unknown addresses.
