Phantom to End Monad Support on Aug. 26

Share

Phantom will end support for the Monad network on Aug. 26, cutting off access to this high-throughput EVM chain roughly nine months after its November 2025 mainnet launch. Phantom users can recover their assets by importing their recovery phrase into another compatible wallet, as Phantom is self-custodial. Monad co-founder Keone Hon expressed regret over the decision, saying it hinders the network’s expansion efforts. MetaMask capitalized on this opportunity by offering to cover gas fees for Monad users. The MON token currently trades around $0.0205, down 58% from its all-time high of $0.0488 reached in late November 2025.
