Paris Saint-Germain nears €35M deal for goalkeeper Zion Suzuki

Paris Saint-Germain is close to signing Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Parma for approximately €35 million including bonuses. The Ligue 1 club had previous offers of €28 million plus €5 million in bonuses and €33 million rejected by Parma. At 23 years old, Suzuki has a market value estimated at €30 million, boosted by his performances as Japan’s starting goalkeeper at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. A loan to Juventus remains an option to secure him regular playing time, as Suzuki wants assurances he will not be a bench player. As of early August 2026, the deal has not been formally completed.
