OP Mainnet has tripled its monthly transaction volume compared to early 2024 levels, with acceleration during the network’s fourth year of existence. ether.fi’s migration of its non-custodial crypto card product to OP Mainnet between February and April 2026 brought approximately $220 million in total value locked, 300,000 new accounts, and 70,000 Visa debit cards issued, generating around $2 million in daily payment volume. On February 5, 2026, the network hit a single-day record of 3,823,880 transactions processed in 24 hours. Average transaction costs on OP Mainnet fell to $0.03 in Q4 2024 following the implementation of the EIP-4844 blob data availability upgrade.
