Nvidia is partnering with six major US asset managers, including Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs and KKR, to assemble a $500 billion financing program for artificial intelligence infrastructure. This alliance aims to help the chipmaker’s largest clients secure the capital needed to purchase its high-end GPUs and build power-hungry data centers. Alternative asset managers are seeking to deploy institutional and insurance capital into digital infrastructure projects. Apollo and Blackstone have already structured financing for AI companies such as Anthropic as they face significant capital expenditure requirements.
