Nvidia has signed a $500 billion deal with SK Hynix to secure its supply of high-bandwidth memory critical to its graphics processors. The agreement includes the construction of massive data centers with a capacity of 2 gigawatts, expected to come online in 2027. SK Hynix, the global leader in HBM memory production, also listed a new ADR on the Nasdaq this week. Separately, Samsung and Broadcom signed a $200 billion memorandum of understanding to expand their collaboration in memory and foundry technologies. Nvidia also announced a $1 billion investment in Naver, a South Korean cloud company building 200-megawatt data centers around its GPUs.
