Newcastle United are in active negotiations with Benfica to sign 23-year-old Bosnian right-back Amar Dedić. The player joined Benfica in July 2025 from Red Bull Salzburg for an estimated €10-12M. His contract runs through June 2030, giving Benfica significant leverage in negotiations. Manchester City have also reportedly monitored him, with valuations reaching as high as £50M. Dedić has experience across multiple European clubs, including a loan spell at Marseille.
