NEAR AI Cloud now issues Intel-signed attestation tokens for confidential inference requests, adding an independent verification layer backed by Intel Trust Authority. Previously, verifying hardware-rooted security required users to perform deep cryptographic analysis of raw quotes. Intel Trust Authority now independently verifies Trusted Execution Environment evidence and issues standardized JWT tokens, allowing encrypted data to be released only after the computing environment is confirmed genuine. The system combines Intel TDX on the CPU side with NVIDIA Confidential Computing on the GPU side, covering the entire hardware stack where AI inference actually happens. This third-party verification from Intel, combined with NEAR’s blockchain-native properties, simplifies policy-based access control implementation.
