Lumentum Holdings reported quarterly revenue of $1.01 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, more than doubling the $480.7 million from the same period last year. The company’s Components segment saw growth of over 77% year-over-year, driven by surging demand for electro-absorption modulated laser (EML) chips where demand exceeds supply by more than 30%. Narrow-linewidth lasers grew over 120% year-over-year, while the Optical Circuit Switches backlog crossed $400 million. Lumentum expects to be completely sold out in key product areas through 2028.
