POSCO International, South Korea’s largest trading company with $22.2 billion in revenue last year, has launched a pilot with LG CNS to tokenize real commercial receivables on the Injective blockchain. The project aims to create shared, transferable records for each receivable to reduce reconciliation cycles between counterparties and banking institutions, and to improve working capital management. Both companies plan to move to production by 2026. The current tokenized real-world assets market stands at approximately $35 billion, with Citi estimating it could grow to $5.5 trillion by 2030.
