Payward, the parent company of Kraken, reported adjusted revenue of $508 million in Q2 2026, a 17% year-over-year increase, despite an 18% decline in platform transaction volume to $310 billion. The company posted positive adjusted EBITDA of $23 million and saw its real assets surge 48% year-over-year to $65 billion. Funded accounts grew 42% to 6.6 million, with Europe recording the strongest increase following MiCA authorization. This shift reflects Kraken’s diversification beyond spot cryptocurrency trading, as revenue from assets and services grew from 55% of total revenue in Q2 2025 to 60% in Q2 2026.
