Israeli Bank Leumi to Debut Bitcoin Trading With Galaxy Digital

Israel’s largest bank, Bank Leumi, will become the first lender in the country to offer Bitcoin trading to its customers. The lender has partnered with Galaxy Digital to provide the service, which will be available early next year, using the GalaxyOne Institutional platform. Customers will also be able to trade other cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin through the PEPPER mobile banking app. According to Chainalysis, crypto adoption in Israel has been steadily growing, with geopolitical headwinds including the war in Gaza and Iran leading Israelis to digital assets as a safe-haven.
