The company invested $20 million in preferred equity in Cardinal Data Power, an AI data-center developer affiliated with Hunt Properties, acquiring an approximately 8% stake as part of an approximately $70 million Series A for a proposed West Texas campus. As of July 10, Empery still held 1,514 BTC, $73.9 million in treasury cash, and $45 million in outstanding debt. The company has also committed $65 million through the EMHU entity for a Midwest property acquisition, a transaction that remains conditional and subject to due diligence.
