Houthis claim drone strike on Aramco refinery in Jizan

Yemen’s Houthi group claimed responsibility for a drone attack on Saudi Aramco’s refinery in Jizan, one of the kingdom’s key oil processing facilities with a capacity of roughly 400,000 barrels per day. The attack, which reportedly involved two drones, caused a fire that was quickly extinguished with no injuries reported. The Houthis framed the strike as retaliation for Saudi drone activity over Yemen’s Saada and Hajjah provinces. This attack follows a pattern of repeated strikes on Saudi energy infrastructure in recent weeks. Saudi authorities confirmed the fire and stated that no impact on operations had been observed.
