Tesla made no changes to its Bitcoin holdings in Q2 2026, keeping 11,509 BTC for a fourth consecutive quarter without any transaction. The electric vehicle maker remains one of the largest institutional BTC holders worldwide, a position acquired since its initial $1.5 billion investment in early 2021. The company sold 75% of its holdings during the 2022 bear market to strengthen its cash position before freezing all movement since. SpaceX, Elon Musk’s other company, made a minor BTC transfer in July, with no significant impact on its 18,712 BTC. Regarding market capitalization, Bitcoin and Tesla sit just outside the top 10, with $1.310 trillion for the former and $1.262 trillion for the latter.
