Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s X account was hacked on Thursday and used to promote a fake memecoin called Vladhood (VLAD) on Robinhood Chain, the company confirmed. The token drew over $22 million in trading volume and roughly 85,000 swaps in a few hours, with a fully diluted valuation of approximately $2.6 million. The hacker’s wallet collected roughly 31.6 ETH ($59,000) and 72 million VLAD ($188,000), totaling approximately $247,000 in profit, while leaving liquidity locked. This marks the third memecoin-related social media scam on Robinhood Chain in three weeks.
